The judges of Restaurant and Catering National Awards for Excellence described  The new Spanish Bar & Grill as “Sleek and cosy, stylish and inviting, the manner and knowledge of service staff exemplary, with well chosen and superbly cooked side dishes and meat cooked to perfection”.

This highly awarded restaurant is committed to ensuring the use of local ingredients, ethical and traditional food preparation and an understanding of cooking methods. On offer is meat of exceptional quality and sourced from local butchers committed to the delivery of superior product and practices.
 

The result of grain-feeding is clearly evident in our steaks: all are wonderfully marbled, which when cooked, dissolves out of the meat onto the char-grill leaving a loose, succulent protien structure.  It cuts "like a hot knife through butter', simply melting in the mouth!

 

One of  the many secrets is the red gum grill at the centre of the restaurants open kitchen.  It is fired with handmade coal derived from dropped red gum and the mallee roots lifted by farmers during the clearing.    Sunday Herald Sun. 
 

It is a menu that abounds with freshness, vitality and originality but most importantly, it is a menu that is best enjoyed with conviviality and friendship, a concept that is often lost in the wake of our busy lives.

From your table you can see firsthand the passion and the dedication of our chefs as they work. You can’t help but be impressed with their careful crafting and their attention to detail as they present each dish.

The menu is easily adaptable to accommodate most dietary requirements, however we do ask for advance notice.
