About The new Spanish Bar & Grill

So where is the tapas you ask? Well we’re not really Spanish at all; the name has simply been retained for historical authenticity. The original Spanish Grill was a prominent feature of the old Grand Hotel and was a keen local patronage that closed in 1989. The new Spanish Bar & Grill has been created to remember the past and to evoke nostalgia for former patrons. We are delighted to carry on this Mildura tradition.
Since 2006 The new Spanish Bar & Grill has been transformed into a must do dining experience for locals and visitors alike. After two state awards for Best Steak Restaurant this sophisticated yet reassuringly relaxed dining venue was in 2009 awarded the Savour Australia Award for Excellence as the Best Steak Restaurant in Australia. And yes we are extremely proud of this achievement.
The centrepiece of the space is the unique red gum grill, with the sights, scents and sounds of the grill adding to the guest experience. The grill is not just a slice of entertainment, it is central to the wonderful and unique flavour of our steaks. Freshly fired each day, the grill uses handmade coal derived from dropped red gum and mallee roots lifted by farmers during clearing. The coals add a subtle flavour to the meat during cooking that cannot be replicated with traditional gas or electric grills.

Providing an atmospheric link between Seasons and The new Spanish Bar & Grill is our Wine Bar. Open daily from 5pm you can choose to relax in our low slung leather lounges, or soak up the al fresco atmosphere of the vine covered arbour while savouring boutique beers or hand muddled cocktails. We recommend a classic with a local twist - the Blood Orange Caiprioska!
With at least one sommelier always on duty finding your way around our extensive local and international wine list (over 200 offerings) is a treat.
