The original Spanish Bar & Grill was a well known and loved restaurant in the old Grand Hotel, only the name has been retained to pay homage to such a well loved local icon.
“Meet Me at the Bar” is a pretty common calling in Australia, however at Seasons and The Grill it goes a bit further, with the bar literally being the meeting point between the two restaurants. Walk through the front door on Langtree Avenue and you are greeted with a sparkling array of glassware, an extensive wine collection and a beautifully crafted timber centerpiece, which is the working hub of the space. On your left is The Grill, a space that evokes the feeling of a grand gentleman’s club, with deep leather lounges, beautiful towering windows and a wonderful relaxed and luxurious ambience. On the right is Seasons, while occupying a similar space, Seasons is energetic, vibrant and elegantly modern.
The bar has a very important role to play in the philosophy of both restaurants, offering one of the largest and most beautifully crafted wine lists in regional Australia. With multiple sommeliers on staff we can also help to perfectly match your wine choice with your menu selection.

An up market Australian dining space, offering a menu that is brimming with fresh seasonal produce sourced from all over Australia, the emphasis at the aptly named Seasons is “seasonality.” Abundant, delicious choices are on offer from the a la carte menu, as well as daily blackboard specials.
Slow Food is an international food movement that believes and supports traditional, time honoured ethical food practice, together with the joining of friends to share the preparation of food and conviviality at the table.

Okay / OK, so we are not really Spanish. The name is simply for historical authenticity, the original Spanish Bar & Grill was located within the old Grand Hotel and was a much loved dining venue for many years. Call us romantic, but we just wanted to keep the name!
A classic steak house
What we really offer is one of the best steakhouses in Australia, Awarded “Best Steak Restaurant 2007” by Restaurant & Catering Victoria. Premium cuts of meat cooked to perfection on the red gum grill - it doesn’t get much better than this. For the less carnivorous the regular deliveries of fresh seafood offer a tantalizing alternative.

Andy & Mandy Williams
“We want you to feel as comfortable in our restaurants as you would dining in our home.” Husband and wife team Andy & Mandy Williams are committed to their dual passions of good food and good wine, and are advocates of the growing trend toward presenting “Slow Food”. With significant experience in a variety of regional areas across Australia, Andy & Mandy have developed a passion for presenting the very best produce in season, sourced locally where possible.
When time permits Andy loves nothing more than cooking up a storm in his own home and entertaining friends and family. Mandy’s exuberant nature and love of people make her the perfect hostess, and her huge smile and amazing ability to remember names and faces ensures you will feel a part of the Seasons/Grill family from your very first visit.
Ashley Allford
Head Chef Ashley “Ash” Allford commenced at Seasons Mildura and The new Spanish Bar & Grill in July 2006. Prior to commencement Ash had returned to work in Mildura with Stefano dePieri in what was then DR1 at The Grand Hotel and as Head Chef of the paddle steamer the Avoca. This followed a period traveling through the UK and Europe to broaden his culinary knowledge.
Ashley began his career in 1998 when he accepted an apprenticeship at the ‘Rendezvous’ in Mildura and attended Sunraysia Institute of TAFE for his schooling. After completing his apprenticeship at the end of 2001, Ashley applied to join Stefano and his team at “ Stefanos”, located in the Grand Hotel, Mildura, and commenced working downstairs in the reknowed “Stefanos” restaurant in 2002. After working with Stefano for a year, Ashley was asked to become Head Chef of the paddle steamer restaurant the Avoca. During his time on the Avoca Ashley was reviewed by ‘The Age Good Food Guide’ and received a score of 14.5/20. He was also voted one of the Top 10 Young Guns in Victoria.
